2023 Leading Cybersecurity Programs and Instructors Announced by EC-Council

The simulated investigation not only required participants to identify the source of the intrusion and assess the extent of the breach but also to recommend actions to mitigate and prevent future incidents. These challenges reinforce the need for cybersecurity professionals to be versatile, strategic, and well-versed in the intricacies of OT systems. Ethical hackers, through simulations like these, enhance their abilities to identify and counteract cyber threats, ultimately contributing to the resilience of critical systems. Los Angeles Community College District Unites with EC-Council to Fortify their Local Cybersecurity Workforce

Tampa, December 5th, 2023 In an exciting development for the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD), several colleges have joined forces with EC-Council through the Academic Partnership offering comprehensive cybersecurity pathways with stackable credentials. These credentials include Network Defense Essentials (NDE), Ethical Hacking Essentials (EHE), and Digital Forensics Essentials (DFE). These three courses are a part of the Essentials Series, an introductory offensive and defensive Cybersecurity certification series positioned to skills up students to entry-level employment. This collaboration between LACCD and EC-Council reflects a commitment to address the growing demand for skilled cybersecurity professionals across the state of California. This partnership provides students with additional opportunities to pursue in-demand industry certifications as they pursue their degrees. About Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) LACCD is the largest community college district in California and among the largest in the nation. Currently, LACCD enrolls about 205,000 full- and part-time students at its nine colleges. For the 2021-22 Academic Year, enrollment was 202,735 students.
